More Safety, More Comfort
Together with the brake pads, brake discs ensure that the braking energy is converted into thermal energy by friction. This way the driver can regulate the vehicle speed. The mechanical and thermal stresses in which brake discs are exposed to are correspondingly high.
In addition, there are environmental influences such as spray, road dirt, and grit. Brake discs are therefore subject to natural wear. Once the wear limit has been reached, they must be replaced. This is the only way to ensure that the brake system functions reliably.
