96 kHz sampling rate

The DSP PRO offers signal processing with a double sampling rate of 96 kHz. This means that the audio bandwidth is not limited to 22 kHz as usual, but allows an extended frequency response up to 40 kHz. However, the higher sample rate represents significantly higher demands on the DSP itself, because the number of possible computing operations is reduced to half when the sample rate is doubled.
