The PDBT19 is no exception to this and is robust and high quality, in not only in build quality but in sound to. This die-cast titanium super tweeter will allow you to achieve the highest highs! This 2" aluminum driver contains a 2" titanium diaphragm for sweet, accurate highs. This 300 watt tweeter isn't lacking for power. Frequency response: 2 - 25 kHz. 4 ohm impedance.

Modern bullet horn tweeters are originally a DJ / PA speaker design, developed to fill a need for small high efficiency treble units which could produce precise, very fast, clean, low-distortion sound, and high acoustic energy levels where lack of space in a speaker cabinet prevented the fitting of traditional full size horns.

They use a tapered widening throat to produce a far wider frequency band than dome tweeters are capable of and broadcast extremely well over larger areas.

The large heavy chassis they use contain the energy levels of the speaker and help to prevent the vibration induced distortion often found in smaller lightweight speaker units.
