SPARK PLUG SPLIT VIEW

1.Tapered ground electrode

Improves combustion

2-Large copper core enables an improved heat transfer

3-Special ceramic material with high dielectric and mechanical strenght

4-Specific insulator design to prevent flashovers

5-Nickel-plated shell with rolled thrads provides complete anti-seize and corrosion protection

6-Fine center electrode design improves ignitability and provides longer service life

7-Laser welded precious metal pin on the center electrode provides higher wear resistance

8-Different electrode materials for different fuel applications (e.g. Ethanol)

9-Orientated ground electrode enables the right spark position and better ignitability

Workshop tip - INSTALLATION:

1. Unbox the new spark plug

2. Do not lubricate the thread. Screw in the spark plug by hand until it is seated at the cylinder head.

3. Then the spark plug must be tightened and the mandatory, type-specific torque, e.g 23 Nm.
